THE KING IS NAKED, 2019
150x200, canvas, fluorescent paints, uv led black light, tripod, motion detector
At first view the work is a white canvas and a tripod with black light lamp. When someone comes up to the work motion sensor gets activated, the lamp turns on and one can see what’s written on the canvas with ultraviolet paint — “The king is naked”. The phrase is taken from Hans Christian Andersen’s short story “The Emperor's New Clothes”.
